We are entering week four of our Kenya outreach. We have many things to thank the Lord for during our time here. We have all been very healthy and strong physically. This is a big thanksgiving and we trust the Lord will continue to sustain us with His strength.

Our seminars so far have been very fruitful and blessed. Every time I am in Kenya with the opportunity to teach leaders I am reminded of the words of Paul in Acts 20:20-21 when he says, “I did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, and teaching you publicly and from house to house, solemnly testifying to both Jews and Greeks of repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.” It is such a privilege to declare to people the whole purpose of God and to see the power of the word of God, which performs its work in those who believe! It is so encouraging to be with people who are hungry to learn and to receive the truth. We continue to believe that they will walk more fully in God’s purpose for their lives as they grow in the reality of Jesus and are able to equip more Kenyan believers to experience the same in their lives for the glory of God.

This week we will be ministering outside of Ahero with our good friends Joseph and Sarah Allen. I have known Joseph since 1996. He is also a teacher and shares our passion to help Kenyan leaders be taught the word of God so they can effectively equip the saints to walk in the truth. Joseph and Sarah also have a very significant ministry to orphans and widows. We will be staying in Joseph and Sarah’s home and meeting with several leaders from the surrounding area.

Our times in between our seminars has also been very blessed. Our friends at the DIGUNA mission station where we are based have made our stay here wonderful. They are spoiling us with Kenyan hospitality and we are always rested and refreshed as we prepare for another week of outreach.

Please continue to pray for us as the Lord puts us on your heart. We highly value your prayers and we know that they make a big impact on us during our time here and in the lives of the people we are ministering to. Your prayers make you a vital part of our outreach as you participate in this ministry with us.

Thank you and God bless you!
